We have switched from CameraLink to CXP on a project, making the 1483 obsolete as a frame grabber. Has anyone successfully been able to access the CameraLink Lines as raw differential digital IO?
My end goal is to drive LVDS transceivers for high speed communication. I don't want to purchase a 6585 or 6587 for task where the connectivity is already a MDR (CameraLink) connector to LVDS drivers. In essence, I don't want the abstraction of the Cameralink pixel bus, I want to drive IO lines as I wish.

Good luck with that. But I doubt if NI's going to share low level information about their product...
I'm kind interesting in how did you deal with CXP, are there any solution that works with CXP and LV FPGA? Thank you!

Thanks for your reply. I did not find a viable solution with NI. I ended up using a Kaya Komodo for prototyping and pointed the customer to a custom FPGA board for production.
