pad colour

Hi all

I am using a wax printer to make stencils for prototyping, it would be much better to print in red colour for UV blocking but I can't work out how to change the colour of pads and vias from the default blue.

Am I missing something or are they only blue with no way to change them ?

Cheers folks

If you only need the data for stenzil prototyping, you can print the Paste Mask (top or Bottom) only. For this data you can change the color in the design toolbox, assembly, and switch the rest of the board off. So now you see only the SMT pads

Vias and through holes span multiple layers, so they are not specified per layer. Instead, you need to create a new colour scheme.

In Ultiboard, open the document.

From the menu, select Options > Global Preferences... Select the Colors tab.

You cannot change the default color scheme, you must create a new one.

Click New Scheme, and give the new scheme a name (eg "New Scheme")

Change both "Pad Color" and "Pad Color in Net" to red (click the color button to the right to choose a color)

You should now have the pads showing in red.
