First do not just point your v11 database to the old v10 database.
You'll need to convert the database:
1. First identify the location of where your user / corporate database is located and note the path location. With the new Vista / Win 7 user file location restrictions, these can be hard to find by just browsing... (I also suggest making a copy a copy for archiving purposes). Note however there have been no problems identified with the conversion process.
2. Convert database from the menu: Tools -> Database -> Convert Database...
3. Point the active database to the location where you saved the converted database from the menu: Options -> Global Preferences -> Paths (tab) and click on the appropriate file path to change to the converted database. Also note that if you've already created parts in v11, you may want to 'Merge' first.
