how do you change beta onb a transistor such as 2n3904

I like to have my students change beta on transistors.  the textlab requests beta changes and I do not know how to do the change

Hi,

If you double click on the transistor and select the "Edit Model" button, the beta parameter is "BF".  You should know that SPICE models are created by curve fitting so the beta value you see may not be the same as the datasheet.
