What's the difference between multisim power pro and education version?
I only found the features comparison of base/full/power and student/education, separately.

I was unable also to find a detailed features list for the academic version, but as a Power Pro user I would venture to say that there are a lot more components and featuresi in my version that are not in the academic version. This also works in reverse, too. I know one feature that is in the academic version that isn't in my version and that is the 3D breadboard option.

Maybe the NI team can provide a more detailed comparasion list as I don't have that much experience with the academic versions.

Hi,

The comparison between the student & education version is in this link:

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5630

I Power Pro version of Ultiboard has component autoplacement / push & shove component placement. I think the Education version is Placement & Autorouting features are more limited (i.e. no autoplacement and no push/shove component placement).

Number of components/pins supported in the student/education version is also more limited (Student: 350 pins / Education: 1000 pins). Routing is also restricted to 2-layers for student version and 4-layers for education.

rgds,
skeatz

Thanks skeatz for the link you provided. I looked yesterday for it on NI's webesite and couldn't find it. Apparently I just didn't looking in the right place (it was hid in plain sight and this is why I didn't find it)

Your assistance is greatly appreciated
