Timestep too small IRGTIN050M12

Hello,

I'm actually in internship and i need simulate an active power filters with this transistor : IRGTIN050M12.

When i run my simualation, there is this error : Timestep too small

I have tried to changed some parameters :

- Under Initial conditions select Set to zeroulation now works.

- Change Maximum Time Step (TMAX) from 1e-005 to 1e-003

- Relative Error Tolerance [RELTOL] to 0.01

- Shunt resistance from analog nodes to ground [RSHUNT] to 1e+9

- Integration Method [METHOD] to Gear

But i have the same error...

If someone can help me.

(I am sorry for my english)

Hi,

Have you try to change the Maximum time step on MultiSim options :

1. Analysis Options>>SPICE Options>>Use Multisim Defaults
2. Analysis Parameters>>Parameters>>Maximum time step (TMAX) = 1e-13 Sec

Generally, you would like to set the TMAX parameter to be significantly less than the smallest feature in your signal.

Let me know if the problem continues.
