New to Pic Simualtions

Solved!
Go to solution
I am fairly new to multisim and completely new to simulation with PIC MCU's. Multisim supports the PIC16F84 with the C compiler on my machine. All I am doing in this project is to turn on the LED connected to the RA0 pin on. The LED does not light even though I put in code that I am pretty sure would light it. I looked at an example also. Is there something wrong with my setup or is it Multisim? Attached is my project.

I seemed to have figured out the problem. I need transistor buffers on the output pins for the LEDs to turn on. I think its funny that I only see a 720mVs when a pin is high and 300mV when low? Is this true of the PIC16F84 chip or is this a bug in multisim?

Hello,

I´m even more newer than you, this is my first post...

I can tell you that is not posible to see 720mVs when a pin is high and 300mV when low, i thing most be a bug form multisim...

I´m starting in MCU´s with multisim and the pin´s out doesn´t turn on too, i´m going to check your solution but i don´t think it will normal to do that...

Can you tell me if that was your final solition or you found another...
