How to put a transistor in amplifier zone?

Hello. I am a newcommer to this software. I am looking for a free version but i don't find it. I clicked a link and it says that FTP was moved.

Then, how can i build a little circuit that put a transistor 2N3904 in its amplifier zone? I am looking for a circuit. If you have theory give me it too, please.

I have found a circuit in internet, where you put a signal into a transistor. The base has a resistor of 1M, and colector one of 5.7k, fed by a power supply of 5V. I don't know how to understand ground because.

Thanks. Do you have a diagram??

Please tell me where i can get a free version of Multisim. It can be a demo version with support to test at least the transistor circuitos and others for a student.

Thanks. Go.

Hi Enrique,

Yes, you can download a free trial of Multisim 14.1 for students here

NI Circuit Design Suite Educational Edition 14.1 - and Student Edition - Windows 10/8.1/7/Server 201...

Select the version I am evaluating NI Circuit Design Suite Educational Edition

That should download what you need.  You can also try Multisim Live which is an online version of Multisim and it also has a free trial:

Multisim Live

To use a transistor in Amplifier mode that depends on the specs found in the datasheet of the 2N3904.  You can find some theory here:

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/transistors/operation-modes

also here;

http://www.learnabout-electronics.org/Semiconductors/bjt_06.php

Also, Multisim has a library full of examples which you can find under Help >> Find examples menu.

Good luck

Mario
