Can't edit resistor component 'value'?

Hi there, I'm taking a class using multisim, and for my first project I was tasked to make a simple clock. In my project, a resistor component I dragged in had a very long 'value', something like "390OHM [DCXAD897324]". I wanted to edit the value so I wouldn't have to see the long identifier in brackets in my schematic, but for some reason the option to do so is not available for me. I saw some colleague's setups where they did have this option for some reason. Here's the values tab of the component properties for me:

My colleague's had what was clearly a textbox to edit the 'value' field, where as I have just text. Any ideas?
