Activating Multisim 12

I am a student of IT sligo. The evaluation period of the Multisim has just expired. I am having problems activating the product.At one point i am being requested for an activation code, which i dont have. I have the licence file from the student portal, but i cant seem to figure out how to use the file as well.

Can any one please help.

Hi chola,

In any case, you will need the serial number for Multisim from your school if they are providing you the license. Once you have the serial number, you can go to Start >> All Programs >> National Instruments >> NI License Manager. Now you can drag and drop the license file on this window. Expand the Multisim menu and right click the installed license file and click Activate. You will be prompted for the serial number. Enter the serial number and go through the process.
