Description
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is the metric that compares the output signal of a device or network with the input signal and measures the level differences in harmonic frequencies between the two. THD analysis is of critical importance for amplifier and filter circuits in telecommunication applications and especially non-linear circuits such as mixers. This analysis offered in Multisim allows you to determine the THD along with relevant measurement parameters, here is an example circuit and its analysis results.
