wireless data transfer

I have a sensor that output voltage as a function of vibration. I would like
to wirelessly transfer that voltage reading to a reciever 300 feet away.
Low cost, light wieght transmitter (<250grams), small size. Does anyone
have some ideas?

I have tried different, wireless serial, but nothing matches wireless ethernet
on price and easy to use configuration.

Have you tried using WLAN or ASH transciever modules? They are really cheap and use TCP/IP or RS-232 for communication.
