visa+daq+parallel process without loosing data

Hello, i'm trying to adquire data from serial port and from USB port simultaneasly. Like my PC don't have a serial port, i use a converter from serial to USB. So, i adquire both signals by USB. I have some problems because sometimes i loose data from the serial port. I don't know what to do, because this port only sends me information each 0.1 seconds, so it doesn't introduce a lot of traffic. What can i do?

If that does not work let us know and we will see how the usb ports can be affecting the system, but i do not think that has something problematic.
