usb 6008 connection acer n300

Hello,

I am trying to establish a connection between an usb 6008 device and my acer n300 pocket pc.

When I connect these two devices, I get the following error:

Unidentified usb device. etc etc

I downloaded NI-DAQ-MX base 3.0 and still kept getting the same error. Apparently the driver on the pda device doesn't support usb 6008? Though on the website of the n300 it says otherwise.

Could anyone please help me?

Hi Michael-

The currently-released (as of May 2008) version of NI-DAQmx Base is version 3.1, but you're correct that NI-DAQmx Base 3.0 should support your DAQ device on your PDA.  It sounds like the NI-DAQmx Base driver files that need to actually reside on the PDA might be missing or corrupted.  Can you please confirm whether you installed the necessary components to the PDA by executing Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-DAQmx Base>>Utilities>>Windows Mobile Driver Installation?
