simultaneous counter and analog task on usb-6008

Hi there,

does anybody have an example on how to acquire simultaneously counter and analog channels on a usb-6008 DAQ board? I know on this board there's no way to do hardware timing, so I would settle for the next best thing. Max sampling frequency 100Hz. I am using Labview 8.5 on windows xp.

Hello Nunzio,

You are right when saying that B Series boards (6008, 6009) do NOT support hardware-timed single point sample mode.

Does My DAQ Device Support Hardware-Timed Single Point Sampling Mode?

Moreover, Counter Input and Analog Input Tasks run on different Timebases, so you won't be able to share same sample clock.
