I'm doing a synchronized test with two PXI-6115 cards. I'm sharing an external clock and an external trigger using rtsi lines. I input the same analog signal into both cards. I have tested different DAQmx configurations and I will often see the two cards trigger at different times.
My solution is to use Frame 2 in my example, where you tell one card to use the other's StartTrigger.
In Frames 1 and 3, what is causing the cards to skip trigger pulses? Is it software? Is there a way to do this other than Frame 2?

PXI-8187 controller
PXI-6115
Labview 8
External clock = 5MHz
External trig = pulse every 50 clock cycles
