pressure transducer and USB-6210

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to setup a USB-6210 to read pressure transducers (specifically: http://www.omega.com/pptst/PX309-100mv.html), with labview2013.

Its a fairly simple task, and it should not be this hard...

I have used a similar system to take similar measurements in the past, but its been a while.

I'm not sure if its just a wiring issue or incorrect labview setup (program), but I can't seem to measure any voltages that are remotely close to the transducer's calibration sheet.

Thoughts?

Do you have any way to verify that the voltages you are reading from the pressure transducer are correct? You could use a DMM if you have one around. How do you have your system wired? What voltage are you expecting and what voltage are you measuring for a particular pressure? Is the voltage off by a constant amount for different pressures? I'd need more information to help you troubleshoot.

Turns out my power supply wasnt outputting properly. Switched to a different power supply and everything works as it should.
