maximum current rating of DAQ 6009

I have to measure the voltage and current of Induction motor and feed it to the PC through DAQ 6009. I have used a voltage sensor 'LV20P' of maximum input rating of 500V. I have placed a resistor of 330 ohms in the ouput side of the sensor inorder to get output voltage of 7V. the corresponding output current from the sensor is 21.5mA. Is it possible to supply the current to DAQ 6009. What is the maximum current and voltage rating of the same.

The current you calculated flows across the load resistor at sensor output. It generates a voltage at resistor ends which is the one you have to measure with 6009. No current flows through the daq board so you don't have to worry about it. 6009 has an input range of ±10V so it can measure the voltage on the resistor.

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.
