how to change analog input for 7831R?

Hello,

I want to set the analog input mode of my 7831R to differential. How do I do this?

I saw a thread on this topic (http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=250&message.id=17610), but the links in this thread are broken.

I get

HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - Document has been deleted

when clicking on one of these links.

Is it somewhere in the documentation? I could not find it...

It is a 7831R PCI board with Labview 8.2.

Best regards

Armin,

Here is the link you are looking for. It is very strange that those links are missing. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Thank you very much, indeed this is what I was looking for. May be you can update the information a bit. In Labview 8.2 you have to select "RIO Device Setup" instead of  "Download Bitfile or Attributes To Flah Memory". Then you have to go to "Device Settings" where you can choose the option.

But this is only a minor issue. With the link as starting point, I think one can find this.

More important, could this go into the online help? This was the starting point for me to look for that information. I'm pretty new to using hardware with Labview, and I expected that kind of information in the FPGA Module documentation. Perhaps it could go to

FPGA Module -> Creating FPGA VIs -> Customizing I/O

I know that the setting is not done by a VI, but this is a keyword, where I would have expected a link.

Otherwise it might go to

FPGA Module -> NI R Series Reference and Procdures -> NI PCI-7831R    and  NI PXI-7831R

Best regards
