how develop application .net with nidaqmx

Hello,

I develop an application with .NET 2.0 to acquire data from PCI 6025 E.
I don't use Measurement Studio.
I would like to use API's driver NiDAQ Traditonal or NiDAQmx.

In fact, I have an application developed with Delphi. Developer used components such as CWGraph, CWAI or CWDAQTools. This components are a part of the activex control c:\windows\system32\cwui.ocx.

In my project VS2005, I add this activex control. I find CWGraph component but I can't place it on a form. The name of this library is Interop.CWUIControlsLib.

I downloaded an C# example : SimpleGraph. In this project there is a CWGraph component placed on the form but it's a part of a different library : AxInterop.CWUIControlsLib. There is also on this component the text: "Evaluation Copy". It would seem that it's a Measurement Studio Component, but I wouldn't like to use Measurement Studio.

How can I use components CWGraph or CWAI in my project without Measurement Studio ?
Else How can I develop an application who acquire data from PCI 6025 E ?

With NiDaqmx, there is a library for .NET but I don't find CWGraph, CWAI. How may I proceed ?

Thanks

Hi

Controls like the CWGraph are part of Measurement Studio so without that you won't be able to use those. CWAI is part of the traditional NI-DAQ .NET library.

What version of the DAQ drivers are you using? I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of NI DAQmx as support for .NET languages is improved with each release. You can find the latest version here:
https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daq-mx.html

For more information on writing DAQ applications with .NET languages, the following tutorial is really useful:
https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/06/transition-from-traditional-ni-daq--lega...

It was written to help people transition from our older (NI DAQ) drivers to our newer (NI DAQmx) drivers but it's also quite useful for people starting out. The link above is for one of 5 tutorials and the links to the rest are at the bottom of that page.

Good luck with it!
