Did you mean:

disable interrupt 3

Dear All

We have a NI card in one of our computers (a HP Vectra 400) which runs a Corbett Research Rotor Gene 2000 machine.

This is an old card which has an code inscribed on the back N34789. It is probably about 13 years old.

It is a UC-D 94V-0 0106 card that fits into an ISA slot and as a 37pin input.

It runs a XILINX   XC3042A     PC84BKJ0101 chipset.

I have searched your site and the web for support on this card but have not been able to find any.

Recently the computer’s hard drive failed and had to be replaced.

Subsequently when we try and run the software that uses the card the error message I get is that the Interrupt 3 needs to be disabled.

This occurs when I try it in both Win98 and WinXP operating systems.

I have tried disabling the IR3 through the Control Panel and also resetting the IR settings in the BIOS all of which have failed to solve the issue.

The card also has IR jumper settings, chaing these does not solve the issue either.

Do you know what I can do to solve the Interrupt 3 issue?

Hi Mawson,

It looks like you have your hands on some legacy hardware. I speculate that you have either an E or M series card. Maybe if you could post some pictures of your hardware, we could better figure out what card you have. The numbers that you posted do not match any of the naming conventions we have for our cards. Also, since this is such an old card, we won't have very much information on it. Options for purchasing a newer card are always available. Either way, we're going to need more information before we can investigate this issue further.
