digital edge triggering on PXI-6229

Hi All,

I am new to triggering and timing functionalities in DAQ. I am using PXI-6229 MIO card and NI-DAQ version 8.7.1 software.

I am trying to run the Analog In\Measure Voltage\Cont Acq-Ext Clk-Dig Start\ContAcq-ExtClk-DigStart.prj example program but i do not know the connections that need to be made. I have given the Sample Clock and Trigger Source as 100KhzTimebase and sample rate as 100Khz, then i am not getting any output being plotted and no error is also coming.

Can anyone explain me what connections need to be made for executing that example and getting valid output.

Hi,

    The example you are referring to needs an external clock source which I guess you have not configured/ connected.

In order to use the sample clock on board, refer to the "Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi". Specify your device and channel and refer to this manual for the connections as per your channel selection.
