decimal digits

Dear sir,

I want to ask two questions. First, Is the number of digits after the decimal point will affect the storage file? second, if the answer is yes, how can I change the decimal digits in write labview measurment file? Can any one tell me the soultion.

The data stored by the Write to Measurement File VI is all in the same format (dynamic data) regardless of the representation or the number of decimal places of the input data. You cannot change the type of data stored by this express VI.

I assume that you are concerned about the file size generated by this operation? If this is a concern, I may be able to suggest using the TDM file format (or TDM Streaming for 8.20). Please take a look at the link for LabVIEW TDM Streaming VIs for more information. Thanks.
