can't see virtual channels using AO config.vi

I am using AO config for a simple power supply to a sensor coming from an ISA AT-MIO64-E3. When I want to configure the channel, it will only show AI virtual channels. With max I have created several output channels, but they remain invisible to AO config.vi. I can still pass the channel number (0 for DAC0OUT), but it will only read positive voltages.
BTW. The board is not recognized by daqMX vi's.
Any suggestions?

okay, I like using constants too much. I solved the problem. Never mind the question. For people who wonder: right click the control -> choose "filter channels" -> realize thta the default is analog input channels
