add additional input channel

I am currently using the NI 6212 DAQ which has only 8 differential analog input channels, but my application require more than 16 channels , could anyone please advise me how I can increase or add channels using multiplexers without having to purchase a new DAQ system.

You should look at the SCXI options. They mulitplex into a channel of a DAQ card. Doing your own mux/demux is going to much more difficult.
