Writing data to disk using C++?

I am in need of Visual C++ example code for countinuously writing data to disk from two input channels. The data collection will not last more than one minute so the files should be relatively small. I have a 6024E DAQ card and running NiDAX 7.0. I DO NOT have LabView or Measurement Studio installed. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello:

If you had Visual C++ installed before you ran the NI-DAQ installation then it should have installed a bunch of great examples for you to use. They can be found here: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\VisualC\Ai. If you don't see them, please re-run the NI-DAQ installer and make sure to add in C++ / text-based support...

The example "DAQdoubleBuf.C" acquires data continuously using a double-buffer. We don't have any examples that write to disk but that will show you how to do all the DAQ stuff. Writing to disk will be your own task as we don't support C++, just NI-DAQ functions...

Good Luck!

Sincerely,
