Wish to output digital data at maximum speed possible from DAQ

Good idea, I hadn't thought of that.  My USB ports are 2.0.  Could you check yours Janak?

Interesting... Though my system supports USB 2.0, according to HHD Software's "USB Monitor," the device appears to be running on a standard (USB 1.1/1.0) Host Controller (I have a total of four regular USB host controllers with two ports each and one USB2 host contoller with eight ports; this apparently has nothing to do with the actual physical configuration of usb sockets on my computer).  Any idea how I could force the DAQ to run in USB2 mode?

Uhhhh.....Wow, do I feel a little foolish.  I had multiple devices in my system, and I actually had chosen the incorrect device when doing the benchmarkingSmiley Sad
I had a PCI and USB device in my system and I was accidentally using a PCI device when I had achieved the rates I mentioned before.  Sorry about the confusion.
I have re-tested with a USB and am getting loop rates at about 1kHz.  This makes sense, as there is about a 1ms latency with full speed USB communication.

Ok, as far as the USB-6008/9 and the type of USB communication.  It is USB 2.0 compliant, and the USB protocol used will be determined by the computer it is connected to.  Perhaps you might need to contact your PC vendor and see if there isn't something going on with the USB ports that we don't know.

Again, really sorry about the mix-up.
