Hi,
I recently upgraded to Windows7, and I was already working on a program using a DAQPad-6020E(USB). My computer doesn't recognize the hardware and I cannot see it in MAX either. Also I cannot install Traditionnal NI-DAQ which I think is my problem...My question then is: Will I ever be able to install Traditionnal NI-DAQ on Windows7?
Thanks,

There are no plans to migrate the Traditional NI-DAQ driver to Windows 7. The Traditional NI-DAQ driver is a legacy driver and no new support is planned. The DAQPad-6020E is not supported in the NI-DAQmx driver, so you will need to stick with Windows XP and Traditional NI-DAQ.

How, or what is the best way, to have access to traditional DAQ software as customers migrate from older O/Ss to Windows 7?
Thank-you.

There is no way. Customers should have migrated to DAQmx which was introduced several years ago.

Thank-you for the reply.
Could you be more specific on how the mirgration would/could be done to DAQmx?
e.g. what are the software drivers and the order that they are to be loaded

An excellent KB article
That should help you migrate and understand the improvements that DAQmx brings to your code
