Virtual Ch. reads erroneously with AI Sample Ch.

Using the AI Simple Channel VI, I get correct results if I manually configure the channel number and limits. However, if using MAX to configure the input as a virtual channel, my reading is always close to 5.00 v., even though the actual voltage is approx. 1.6 v. I have used F5 to refresh in MAX to no avail. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

I have found the answer with the help of Dory (sp?) at NI. I needed to configure my virtual channel as differential rather than single ended. Wayne B.
