Using rotary encoder with SCB-68

Hello,
I am using an Omron rotary encoder (E6B2-CWZ6C incremental) on a SCB-68.
I found a bunch of examples that allowed me to wire:
-phase A on Pin 37 (PFI8/GPCTR0 SOURCE (SOURCE5) )
-phase B on Pin 16 (DIO6 (BDIO2) )

and using the "Quad._Encoder_with_E-Series_(STC).vi, it works!
It's kinda magic.

But I can't figure out where to wire phase Z...
Can anybody help me please?

Hi Ben

The chip (DAQ-STC) on E-Series boards doesn't provide this kind of functionality. You don't have a "Z-Index Input" for E-Series boards. You need a board with a NI-TIO chip, like the boards of the 660x family. The NI-TIO allows you to zero the counter when the Z-index pulse arrives.
