What version of DAQmx do you have installed? Why are you trying to switch to DAQmx Base? What does an FPGA compiler have to do with an M series DAQ device?

I am using NI-DAQmx 9.9. I was using NI-DAQmxbase as I was experimenting with using NI_DAQ in C++. The FPGA error has happened at the same time so I am presuming they are linked?
