USB DAQ 6008 Analog Input limits

I was told by an engineeer that the analog inputs to this daq could accept up to 20VDC however upon testing this for myself I am only able to receive 10VDC.  The DAQ input was setup for both differntial and RSE and I received the same thing.  What am I doing wroing?

Secondly I want to send the input to a output from the DAQ to reproduce/generate the signal for use with a motor,   is this possible with this DAQ?

If you read the specs, you'll see that the input range in differential mode is +/- 20Volts but that both must be within +/-10V of GND.
