USB-6009

We have a USB-6009 being used to  test data acquistion application.  The USB device seems sensitive to EMI noise.  Is the USB-6009 more likely to experience problems versus more expensive i/o device?

lottie,

Yes the USB 6008/6009 is more susceptable to EMI.

All of our other devices will have better EMI protection.  If you are looking to upgrade I would recommend one of our low cost M series devices.  For approximately twice the cost of a USB 6009 you can purchase a PCI-6221 which has at least 5 times the functionality of the 6009.

We also have some other USB solutions to pick from that will offer more EMI protection.

I hope this helps,
