Spectrum analysis for 5102

Is there any way to use hardware 5102 more closely an spectrum analysis.
The issue is if transform from time based signal, the power density will be too low, so I want to get some spectrum input directly from hardware 5102.

I need to find out if there is any spectrum program specialize for 5102 hardware, since the hardware fft and software fft are totally different.
It is a pulse signal with 5V high and duration shorter than 1 Milli secord, somehow like the attachment.

Hey turbot,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments support.  There is an example in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\examples\instr\niScope folder, or whichever version of LabVIEW you are using.  The example is called niScope EX Measurement Library.vi.  Within that example you can fetch an FFT measurement from the device.  This is done in hardware.  This also works with any Scope card.

You can fetch scalar measurements and array measurements from the device, and there are FFT spectrum measurements in both types.  Let me if I can help further.
