Sampling of multiple channels

I need to sample a signal from a resolver, which consists of three sine-waves at 10 kHz. These three sine-waves have to be sampled simultaneously, or at least as close to simultaneously as possible. What kind of sampling rate can I expect, and will there be a problem with the input FIFO size? (4095 samples). I plan to use NI USB - 6229, but if there are better DAQs for my problem please let me know.

Hey,

The best would be to use an S-Series board which has independent ADCs for each channel, so you can sample simultaneously!

Thanks for that, but I forgot to mention that I want to use a USB-interface 😄

Hey,

So if you wants to use your M-Series USB device the minimum delay between the channels would be somthing about 1µs. But you can determine this as described within the following KB: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/104E42830B2E2CE486256DBE005E68E4?OpenDocument
