Is it possible to get a reference to the digitising device attached to a SCXI card?
I.e. I have a SCXI-1520 card connected to M series DAQ card, when given a SCXI physical channel name (SC1Mod1/ai0), get a reference to the M series device?
From an old thread at LAVA: http://forums.lavag.org/Programmatically-Find-SCXI-s-Connected-DAQ-Device-t6795.html&p=60255#entry60...

Hello,
Thank you for posting to the NI Forums! I think I have a solution for you. Please let me know if this fits your needs.
I used a DAQmx Device Property node based on a knowledgebase that I found on programmatically finding a DAQ device. I then concatenated the DAQ device with the SCIMod1/ai0 input. Take a look at these screen shots and let me know if this is what you are looking for. Have a great day!

Hi Margaret,
No that's not quite what I am after.
I want to find (programmatically) which device in my system is the digitiser device for the SCXI card.
The attached picture is a MAX screen shot which shows the information I want to retreve from DAQmx for a given channel name.

Hello,
I am still researching this issue, but I did find a community post called Programmatically Get DAQ Device Product Names. This code will retrieve all DAQ devices found in MAX. Perhaps we can manipulate this code somehow to narrow it down to which device is interfacing with the SCXI system. I will continue to research this and post back if I am succesful.
