Problems with dynamic limits

Hi all!
I am going to set a dynamic limit on the spectrum of FFT and trying to use the SVXMPL_Limits Testing(simulated).vi as example.
However, the number of movable points on the dynamic limits have only 10 points which only can make a rough shape of limits.
How can I increase the number of points for dynamic limits for better resolution?
Thank You.

Hui,

You are correct in thinking that you can increase the number of points for your dynamic limits. Keep in mind that "SVXMPL_Limits Testing(Simulated).vi" is just a simple example, and that ultimately you could have dozens or more points as a part of a limits curve. If you'd like to just add a few points to this example, though, you'll have to make a handful of changes throughout the program and it will require a little LabVIEW experience. Roughly, this is what you'd have to do:

1. Add more cursors to the dynamic limit graphs
2. "10" is also hard-coded into the first subVI "Modify Dynamic Limits Interactively." You'll have to increase these instances to the number you desire.
3. There are several other places throughout that will need to be modified to accommodate more points as well throughout the main Top-Level.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
