Problem with DAQPad-6052E and DAQmx.

I recently started using a DAQpad-6052E with LabView 7.1 (NI-DAQ 7.3) and have had some troubles with the DAQmx access to the device. I cannot see the device under mx in measurement & automation and do not see it DAQ assistant. I do see it under traditional NI-DAQ devices and has correct test-panel operation. Is this device supported by mx, and if so, is there some special operations that I need to perform to have it function properly? Thank you for your time.

The DAQPad-6052E is not supported under DAQmx, but is supported under traditional DAQ. Refer to the DAQ Quick Start Guide for a complete list of device support under traditional DAQ and DAQmx. The Quick Start Guide can be found under Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-DAQ>>DAQ Quick Start Guide on a default installation of NI-DAQ.
