Problem using DAQ-Card 500 with LabVIEW 7.1

Hi,

A colleague is having a problem using a DAQ-Card 500 with LabVIEW 7.1. He has installed the original NI-DAQ that came with the card (NI-DAQ 6.8.1) onto a laptop, and has made a simple application using one of the examples that came with LabVIEW (Cont Acq to Spreadsheet File.vi).  Only the built application is installed on the laptop, not LabVIEW itself.
The DAQ-Card is configured correctly and seems quite happy, but when the application is run the following error message appears:
"The ordinal 2011 could not be located in the dynamic link library nidaq32.dll".

I was under the impression that legacy DAQ-Cards could run OK with newer versions of LabVIEW provided that the relevant version of NI-DAQ was installed.

Any ideas of what the problem is here?

Mark,

I would recommend that you update to NI-DAQ6.9.3.  I have a attached the link below to download it.  Try uninstalling the existing version of NI-DAQ and install 6.9.3.  Hopefully this will fix the problem.
