Perform transducer calibration with 9237

Is it possible to perfrom a transducer calibration with the 9237 shunt resistor calibration. I have looked into this for a while now but the only way that the calibration will work is if you have the sensitivity and capacity and apply a custom scale after doing the shunt calibration. I am wondering if I can eliminate the need for the sensitivity and capacity of the load cell and only use the shunt resistor in the 9237 module. I know the load at 120kohm resistance and could linearly interpolate to any resistance measurement.

Hi Billy331,

Are you using a pressure transducer? Are you trying to perform this calibration in LabVIEW, SignalExpress, or NI MAX? With the 9237, you can use the shunt calibration and offset null, but you will want to also provide values from your sensor to improve your calibration. If you are using LabVIEW, you can go to the Example Finder, Hardware Input and Output>>Analog Input>> Bridge Continuous Input, and use this with your pressure transducer. In NI Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) you also have the option to create the scaling for your transducer when you create a pressure task. Additionally, you can go to the device tab and specify shunt calibration and offset calibration (click on the bridge calibration button under the device tab).

I hope this helps.

I was able to figure it out it was wired incorrectly
