PXI-6123 SampleClock Source

Hi All !
I've a question concerning PXI-6123 card!

I want to use a 10Mhz Clock instead of the 20MHZ onboard clock. My first surprise is this card is not able to retrieve the 10 MHzRefClock from the PXI bus.

The solution i found,  is to route the 10MHzRefClock to a TriggerLine using a M serie card e.g. 6254 (which is able to retrieve the signal). And then use the Trigger Line as a source for the 6123 card. So that's what I tryed to do. Unfortunately, I get this error : "Error 89136 : Specified route cannot be satisfied, because the hardaware does not support it" !!!
It seems the 6123 card already route the onboard 20MHz to the TriggerLine7, and i cannot use this trigger anymore...

Well, does anyone has another solution to use a 10MHz clock instead of the 20MHz onboard clock for this card ???

Hello,

There is a tool on MAX( Mesurement and Atomation Explorer). that can help you for the rounting of the signals on your card. To find it go on system>>Devices and interfaces>>DAQmx devices. Click on your device and select the device routes tab.

Then you can see which lines are direct or not.
