Tom,

Thank you. I am using the same method as in Read/Write Dig Chan VIs and it's working. About posting the question in more than one thread. Why can't I do that? Sometimes the question is relevant to several different groups of users. By posting my question only in one thread I'm limiting myself to a smaller audience and may not get the best possible help.

Hi Fataneh-

We encourage only a single thread so that all resources can be consolidated in one thread and to make the exchange easier to follow.  NI engineers monitor and respond to every thread that is posted if necessary, so you shouldn't worry about your questions reaching the appropriate audience. 

There are expert external users in every forum that help us out a lot with other members' questions and NI engineers that make sure your questions are answered.  Regardless, I hope my response in your other thread did not seem impolite- we appreciate your input on the forums and enjoy helping all of our users in making sure they are successful in their applications.
