Need help in synchronizing hardware output digital pulse generated on USB 6009 with tht of system time(nimute, hour or seconds)?

I am using generate contineus pulse vi, to generate pulse on port of NI 6009 DAQ, I am getting system time using  get time/ date function. But i want to output a pulse only at specific time like 5.30.11, or say on tick of every second. i. e 1 pulse per second but synchronized to system time. How can i do that? pls help.

6009 is entirely software-timed, so your'e going to get a couple of mS jitter between pulses due to windows processes, software priorities, and bus latency.

If you want a good 1-pulse-per-second you're going to need a timebase; something like the PXI-6682 or Symmetricomm XLi.
