Hi All,
This might be a silly question, but I've got a cDAQ NI-9138 Controller and I am unsure how to actually power it up to get it running. I haven't got any sort of power lead with it, just the controller. Should I have a power lead or does it require a separate Power Supply Unit? Thanks in advance.

The power supply is separate from the cDAQ, it is possible that you didn't purchase the power supply.
You have to wire the power supply to the power connector highlighted below
Refer pg21 of user manual on how to wire the power supply and you can refer the datasheet for power requirements

Thanks for helping me out!
If I'm powering the controller using an NI PS-16 power supply, which is plugged in to the mains, do I still need to worry about earthing the controller using the ground terminal on the front panel of the controller or is the earth wire in the plug enough?
Thanks
