NI Daq / Labview error 10243

I'm using NI-DAQ 6.6 with Mac OS9 and have encountered a configuration error. I can't open the configuration utility because the system says that it's still checking the system. Question: Is the original file extension for this utility niconfig.daq? I tried to save this file as a different named file just prior to this crash.

It sounds like something became corrupted and is no longer functioning. I would try to uninstall NI-DAQ then download and install the latest drivers for your machine.
