NI-DAQmx on an Asus eeepc 900?

Has anyone ever used an eeepc 900 with the DAQmx drivers? I would like to use this ultra-small pc for data acq.

pc will be running a lite version of XP.

Programs would be compiled from either Labview 8.5 or Visual Studio 2005 with Meas Studio.

Hardware would be either USB-6211 or 6212 which both need DAQmx drivers.

M concern is that the pc has limited memory and the DAQmx is not the lightest eater. There is no way I could install the entire driver package. Is there a way I could install enough of the DAQmx just to run these two DAQ boards? There will be no program development occurring on this machine. Just running compiled programs.

You probably want the DAQmx 9.4 Core Runtime, which only includes the DAQmx drivers and supporting libraries. It does not include things like development environment support for LabVIEW, documentation, or Measurement and Automation Explorer.
