This is my first post in the NI forums
I read the Analog voltage input cable connection but I'm not an electronics expert so I need help for cable connections.
As part of my work I have to measure potential difference of a multi-electrode instrument;
The instrument is formed by 3 pits, inside each pit there are 4 electrodes (one over each other isolated by soil) and a ground cable (4*3 +1).
My work consist to measure potential between each electrode couple: 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 for every pit.
Additionally i have to measure the potential between each electrode (in each pit) and a ground wire: 1-G 2-G 3-G 4-G
Not essencial is the possibility to do the measurement between one fixed electrode (used as a common wire)
I have to use the SC-2345 connected trought a PCI-6251. And I have 4 SCCAI04 modules.
Before the purchase of the NI instruments, mesaurements were done manually, using a multimeter.
My impression is that i have to chose the channels to use because my actual configuration dosen't allow to connect in all electrodes in the right way plus the ground wire.
In that case, Which is the cables connection configutation that permit me the major number of measurements? Have I to purchase a different SCC modules set? (like the AI01).
Thanks

Hello,
to make measurements between each electrode and the ground can be considered the two channels available for each SCC and the ground terminal of the SC 2345, unfortunately for the measurements between the electrodes it is necessary another SCC. I attach the SCC modules and SC 2345 manuals for more information.
