Measuring temperature with RTD sensor

Hi guys,

I am a beginner of Labview.

I am measuring temperature on a surface in my machine, using PT100 RTD sensor, 

But I dont know which hardware device I need to use, so I think of two options:

1. Use a device (called "unknown device") to connect with RTD sensor , then connect this unknown device with SCB-68A.

2.  Directly connect RTD sensor with SCB-68A? I read SCB-68A manual, I see some guide to measure temperature. However, I am a beginner,

    so I dont really understand this manual.

Please guide me. Please see the picture I attached.

The SCB-68A is just a breakout box to connect something (like your sensor) ..

Usually it's connected to DAQ (Data AQuisition card) .. which one ?

If you open MAX, you should find your DAQ device ...

Try the Task assistance to create a measurement task for your RTD, it will also provide a wirering schematic 🙂
