M serial analog Input range

I'm using PCI6255 analog input to get analog  signal from ultrasonic probe. I set input range to -1~1V because it's the normal output from the ultrasonic probe. But in some cases if operator  mis setup the ultrsonic instrument, it can output more than 2V but less than 5 V.  I'm not sure if this can damage the A/D card.

You will be fine, but your readings may not make any sense. The card has over-voltage protection up to +/-25V powered on, +/-15V powered off. Max working voltage is +/-11V from AI ground.
