I need a favour off someone.
I currently don't have a NI DAQpad 6020E but need some labview code to setup the NI DAQPad 6020E with the following analogue inputs.

Can someone send me some labview code?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Tim,
Seems like this one slipped off the front page and into the forumatic abyss! sorry about that.
I've had a look around but I can't find much prebuilt code for that particular DAQpad at all. The device supports the TradDAQ driver so you may wish to look into the TradDAQ examples in the LabVIEW examples finder (In LabVIEW go to "Help >> Find Examples"). To have access to those examples you will need the TradDAQ driver installed, which can be downloaded here. Those drivers will only work on Windows XP and 2000 so this is something to consider before you progress. This article details the support.
NI are a tools provider, much like B&Q sell hammers but don't do the actual DIY for you. And when it comes to DIY, "there's more than one way to skin a cat" as they say. But I don't recommend skinning a cat with a hammer. Anyway, if you are in need of something being built fast, and your are perhaps unsure how to do it yourself, you may want to hire a builder. NI have a host of builders experienced with our tools, know as our Alliance Members, who specialise in building code for you. If you are interested, then perhaps check out this page for a list of the Alliance Memebers.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Perhas you can take a look at somebody else's DAQpad code as a starting point if they see this post.
All the best.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think I have made myself clear,
I don't want someone to write the code for me I just need to know how to set it up without the hardware.
I am using the 'Traditional Config DAQ' but don't know what to put as the 'channels (0)' input.

Dennis,
Thanks for your help so far but I am still confused because how does the software know it it talking to the DAQPad or am I missing something?

Why don't you turn on Context Help and look at the description of the function and of the inputs?
If you don't have the DAQ device, what is the point of all of this?

Sorry.
Just to let you know I DON'T have a DAQPad in the UK.
